This year has gone by so quickly. It's hard to believe that the countdown to the new year has already begun. 2011 was a great year for me, in fact, it's one of the best years I've had. A surprise trip to NYC with my family…a new car for my birthday…it's been really fun. Of course, there were a couple of up and downs, some fights and apologies, but I've gained so many new friends and I'm still working hard to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications— something that I love learning about in college. Okay, so 2NE1 is pretty damn awesome. :) I have that song on repeat. I think Bom is FREAKING ADORABLE. OH LORD. Anyways, a lot has happened so far this month! I got back from a lovely family vacation in NY about two weeks ago. I've been there before, but we did lots of things this time, like riding the subway and going to Times Square! We tried to go to the place where Good Morning America broadcasts, but we woke up too late. XD All in all, I had a great time. Metrocon '11 has officially come to a close. Actually, it was over since this past Monday, but I was so exhausted. D: Not to mention I had to drive back to Tally to finish up my summer semester (which is ending after this week, thank GOD.). Q: So how was Metrocon '11? A: A HELL of a lot better than last year's. This year's theme was Monster's vs. Hunters, and one of my friends was a mascot for it! She did an amazing job on her cosplay. ^__^ My friends and I didn't go to the Anime Human Chess Match, but we did go to see a panel hosted by Yaya Han on cosplaying tips and tricks.
